The hotel is beautiful. I loved the interior design of all the facilities & rooms. The restaurant is gorgeous and has great food. Breakfast offers a good selection. The staff is friend. The pool is beautiful and refreshing. I will definately stay here again. It is a little outside of Florence and you will need a car to get around, but parking is free whereas if you stay inside Florence, you will have to pay at least 18Euros/night for parking. Internet is free as well.
Great boutique hotel. Very nice room with high vaulted ceiling. Excellent restaurant and bar.
Not a great location for local walking / sightseeing. Cannot get the car up to the entrance
A wonderful hotel. We enjoyed a lot the big room with the king size bed, beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff is friendly.Very relaxing and quiet place.
The hotel itself is attractive and modern, with lovely grounds. Staff were very welcoming.
The location proved really problematic. I had expected to be able to drive into Prato relatively easily, but it turned out to be a really difficult drive through heavy traffic. Although the room looks great, it is irritatingly impractical, with subdued lighting, no drawers and no shelving in bathroom despite lots of space - a triumph of style over substance! The pool looks really nice, but was not available for swimming despite hot weather, and I got the impression it rarely is.
The staff in the hotel were extremely polite and helpful. The facilities offered in the hotel (swimming pool, restaurant, bar etc.) are perfect.
Exceptional breakfast. Beautiful room, great amenities, including a pool and outdoor terraces. Outstanding cleanliness. A very relaxing place it itself and a great location as a base for day trips in Tuscany. We had a great time, so ...thank you Hotel 500 Firenze!
This is a great Hotel and outstanding property. My husband and i have been going there for years, and are always happy to return. the rooms are great, with contemporary furniture, but the property itself is beautiful and very very well kept. The pool is a great asset for summer visits. we recomend it to anyone having to go to Florence, since it is strategically close, yet one gets the tuscan villa experience. The restaurant had a professional staff, and good menu options. it is a hidden gem, and will continue to go there.
the lady at the front desk is not friendly at all. they should have someone with more PR experience dealing with guests. i think the cleaning lady took one of my toiletries....
A wonderful hotel in a 16th century big house, which has been restored with a great taste. We enjoyed a lot the big room with the king size bed, beautifully decorated. The swimming pool is really nice. There was a wedding when we stayed, but it didn't occured any problematic noise. We got a very good price.
The waiter of the breakfast room wasn't really friendly. It was not a big deal.
Once a convent, orphanage, and then villa, the site has been renovated into a beautiful hotel. The grounds were well maintained, and the hotel, bar, and other buildings were immaculate. The rooms were well appointed, cool and comfortable. While we didn't have time to use the pool, it looked very inviting. This was one of our favorite hotels of our trip.
If you don't have a car, you'll have to pay ~$40 each way for a taxi to Florence, and like most of the other places we stayed, there was a little mold in the shower (but not too bad).
Enviroment place build
Handy location, nearby the exit of the highway. Chic infrastructure. The staff was nice.
We had asked before the booking the possibility to have room service (traveling with a small baby) even if it was New Year's Eve and they were organizing the special dinner. The answer we received was positive and even at the place we were assured that something would have be brought to us. At midnight we gave up and we ate what we had with us. The breakfast was disappointing in terms of quantity and variaty, even more for a 4 stars hotel.
The hotel is a like peaceful and relaxing place, out of time, surrounded by fields, but strangely located in the middle of a commercial area. I recommend this place only for visitors with a car, because you can not reach anything walking. I had a wonderful relaxing time by the swimming pool, the staff is helpful, the restaurant is really good, the ancient building reminds you of old times. I highly recommend the 500 Firenze
Too isolated. No activities for guests or access to transportation to Florence. You need a car to stay there.
